Hi, my name is Lea! I am a creative writing enthusiast. Over the past six years, I have been crawling up a mountain of words for the great reward of better understanding myself. Before that, I was immersed in street photography and urban sketching. Everyday scenes become delicate wonders with these lenses. And I love allowing myself to be distracted… You never know what will happen.
Whether a scene presents itself as an oceanside cyclist riding under a pod of pelicans, women listening to bagpipers practice in the park or discovering an elusive fox in the mirror, my focus tends to have its own fascination with life and I am only trying to share what these moments feel like.
I am thankful to take part in life on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
